I'm not sure if this is of any help but I am currently working on my family tree. I am related to the Dr. James Currie who was the biographer of Robbie Burns. He lived in Liverpool but he had a cousin Dr. William Currie who was a well known doctor who worked and lived in Chester. Dr. William Currie was married to Mary Foulkes who was the heiress of Boughton Hall in Chester.

A good couple of days was had by all! Do come and see us at Rozelle at any time. As Chris says, Burns and lots more to see! Also visit the McKechnie Institute In Girvan, where some of our Burns collections are currently on display.
